Reimagining a Classic
A fresh visual identity for a beloved reissue
The publisher needed a fresh visual identity for a beloved classic reissue — something that honored the original while speaking to a new generation of readers. The brief called for a single cover that could anchor an entire campaign across print, digital, and in-store displays.
The Approach
Working closely with the art director, our artist developed a series of concept sketches exploring tone, palette, and composition. After three rounds of refinement, the final piece balanced nostalgia with contemporary design sensibility. Every element — from the typography integration to the color temperature — was calibrated to feel both timeless and fresh.
The Result
The cover became the centerpiece of the reissue campaign, featured in bookstore window displays nationwide and praised by critics for breathing new life into a timeless story. First-month sales exceeded projections by 40%.

“The moment we saw the final piece, we knew it would define the entire campaign.”
