JAKE PAGE
Jake Page is an illustrator and animator from South Carolina. A freelancer of over a decade, his work has been put to use in a wide variety of ways—apps, picture books, animation, and visual development—just to name a few.
His illustrations are a balancing act between whimsy & humor (inspired by the Sunday comics and cartoons of his youth) and the epic & dramatic (brought about by his love of movies and sports). Never one to take his subject matter too seriously and always game to add a sense of playfulness into otherwise dramatic artworks, Jake does, on the other hand, take a lot of pride in the craftsmanship he pours into each of his illustrations.
An avid toy and picture book connoisseur, collections of both can be found either neatly organized in his studio or scattered about in any of his three childrens' rooms (with whom he is more than happy to share!).
